Recently, Motorola unveiled four new products at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. These include the Moto Sound Flow, Moto Watch, Moto Pen Ultra, and Moto Tag 2. Both the Moto Sound Flow and Moto Tag 2 incorporate UWB technology.
The first portable speaker, Moto Sound Flow
The first portable speaker, the Moto Sound Flow, is available in two colors: Pantone Carbon and Pantone Warm Taupe. It features a twill fabric design. The Moto Sound Flow utilizes Bose sound technology and features an independent woofer, tweeter, and dual passive radiators.
This setup delivers 30W of power for clear highs and deep lows.

In terms of connectivity, the Moto Sound Flow supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. This enables fast device pairing and seamless audio transmission.
With UWB, the speaker can detect proximity. It automatically transfers ongoing calls or other playback content to the speaker if a UWB-enabled phone is nearby.
In multi-speaker setups, the system dynamically adjusts the left and right channels. This adjustment is based on the phone’s location, achieving stereo sound that follows the user.
In multi-room scenarios, Motorola’s RoomShift feature uses UWB to identify the user’s location. It seamlessly switches audio to the nearest speaker.
Regarding battery life and protection, the speaker features a built-in 6000mAh battery and IP67 dust and water resistance. Furthermore, the moto sound flow app supports both Android and iOS platforms, offering greater flexibility.
Motorola expects the product to start at €199 (approximately RMB 2095).It will be available in select countries and regions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming weeks.
Motorola Launches Moto Tag 2
Motorola also officially launched the Moto Tag 2, the successor to the Moto Tag 1. This Android tracking accessory can replace Apple’s AirTag. The Moto Tag 2 integrates with Google Find Hub and is compatible with smartphones running Android 9 and above. It has passed Google Find Hub accessory certification.

In terms of positioning capabilities, the device supports Bluetooth 6.0 channel sounding technology. Combined with ultra-wideband (UWB), it can achieve higher precision positioning on Android devices equipped with UWB hardware.
Motorola states that UWB-based positioning requires the tag to be within 100 meters of another compatible Android device participating in the Find Hub network. Location sharing and finding functions require users to enable Bluetooth and location services on the paired phone.
For battery life, the Moto Tag 2 uses a user-replaceable CR2032 button cell battery. It has an officially claimed battery life of over 500 days under typical usage conditions. The device has a built-in speaker that can reach 77 decibels at a distance of 10 centimeters, making it easy to quickly locate items nearby.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Moto Tag 2 measures 31.9 × 31.9 × 8 mm. It uses plastic and metal materials and has an IP68 protection rating. This design allows the Moto Tag 2 to withstand submersion in 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes under laboratory conditions. It also supports an operating temperature range of 0°C to 45°C.
For privacy and security, the Moto Tag 2 uses end-to-end encryption. The Moto Tag 2 features an anti-tracking alert function that actively notifies users when it detects an unknown tracker moving with them. In addition, users can use smart functions such as remote photography, phone finding, and location sharing through the Moto Tag app.
The Moto Tag 2 has a suggested retail price starting at €39 (approximately 305 RMB). Motorola plans to make the Moto Tag 2 available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and some Asia-Pacific countries and regions in the coming weeks.
