Overview
Driven by the rapid growth of intelligent vehicles, robotics, the low-altitude economy, and other emerging industries, together with continuous advances in millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar chipsets and signal processing algorithms, China’s mmWave radar market has experienced remarkable growth in recent years.
Entering 2026, while demand continues to expand across intelligent driving, robotics, and smart spaces, the mmWave radar industry is also facing new challenges, including high-precision sensing, cost optimization, multi-sensor fusion, and large-scale commercialization.
Since the beginning of 2026, the accelerated adoption of mid- and high-level Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), along with the rapid maturation of technologies such as 4D imaging radar and Child Presence Detection (CPD), has further extended mmWave radar applications into robotics, industrial automation, intelligent transportation, smart homes, and many other sectors. The industry’s ecosystem continues to evolve and expand.
Focusing on emerging applications, technological breakthroughs, industry challenges, and future trends in the mmWave radar ecosystem, IOTE 2026 Shenzhen Millimeter-Wave Radar Technology Ecosystem Symposium will bring together leading experts, innovators, and industry pioneers to explore the next wave of innovation and collaboration in intelligent sensing technologies.
The symposium will be held on August 27, 2026, alongside the IOTE 2026 International Internet of Things Exhibition (Shenzhen). Industry leaders from the intelligent sensing and AIoT ecosystem will share their insights and discuss the future development of mmWave radar technologies and their expanding applications.
