In previous years, the development of the digital economy has been a key priority. Positioning technologies represented by UWB and Bluetooth serve as a foundational underpinning for the digital economy, given that most data needs to be accompanied by location information.
In the AI era, positioning technologies deliver greater value. Data collection is not an end in itself; the ultimate goal is to unlock value from data, a process that can be significantly enhanced with AI.
Over the past year, the UWB positioning industry has witnessed extensive changes. On one hand, more participants have entered this market. On the other hand, UWB has achieved notable breakthroughs across scenarios including digital car keys & CPD, two-wheel vehicles, smart door locks, air conditioner sensing, directional remote control, and tags. Furthermore, the integrated sensing and communication capability of UWB is gaining increasing attention.
Bluetooth focuses on Channel Sounding, a positioning technology featuring higher accuracy, stability and security, which greatly strengthens Bluetooth positioning capabilities. Meanwhile, StarFlash is developing rapidly. SLE and SLP support high-precision positioning and have begun commercial deployment.
