IOTE 2026 Shenzhen | Anti-Counterfeiting & Traceability Technology Applications Forum

On August 26, the IOTE 2026 Shenzhen | Anti-Counterfeiting & Traceability Technology Applications Forum was successfully held in Hall 11, Venue 5 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an). The forum was organized by Shenzhen Ulink Media Co., Ltd. and co-organized by the Shenzhen Anti-Counterfeiting and Traceability Association.

Against the backdrop of China’s national strategy for building a quality-driven economy, anti-counterfeiting and traceability are evolving beyond their traditional role of combating counterfeit products. They are becoming part of the digital infrastructure needed to support a unified national market, strengthen consumer confidence, and enable more transparent and trusted commerce.

The forum highlighted a clear direction for the industry: the future of anti-counterfeiting lies not in any single technology, but in a layered protection system combining physical security features, digital identities, and end-to-end traceability.

From holographic optics and invisible security codes to IPv6-based digital identities and AI-powered one-code-per-product solutions, nine presentations outlined a common industry vision: giving every product a unique and trusted identity that cannot be replicated—from the factory floor to the end consumer.
