IOTE 2026 Shenzhen Anti‑Counterfeiting & Traceability Technology Application Forum

Overview

As China’s anti‑counterfeiting industry enters a new phase of high‑quality development, anti‑counterfeiting and traceability technologies are undergoing a profound transformation from “stand‑alone protection tools” to “full‑chain digital management systems”. Guided by the Outline for Building a Quality‑Powered Country, anti‑counterfeiting and traceability serve not only as a critical line of defence against counterfeiting and piracy to safeguard fair‑market competition, but also as a vital digital‑economic foundation for building a unified national market, securing financial and public safety, and boosting consumer confidence.

High‑profile and high‑margin products are facing growing threats from counterfeiting and infringement. Conventional anti‑counterfeiting measures can no longer meet the demands of dynamic market supervision and brand‑protection requirements. The industry is accelerating its comprehensive shift toward intelligence and user‑centric experiences. On one hand, physical anti‑counterfeiting is deeply integrated with digital‑information anti‑counterfeiting. Multi‑technology synergies including micro‑nano optics, smart chips, blockchain and invisible security codes build a multi‑dimensional protection network that is difficult to replicate. On the other hand, anti‑counterfeiting and traceability are tightly coupled with production coding, supply‑chain tracking, channel governance and consumer‑oriented operations, enabling closed‑loop full‑lifecycle management “from farm‑gate to dining‑table” or “from factory to end‑user”.

In response to national initiatives to strengthen supervision and administration of product anti‑counterfeiting, and to explore innovative practices of anti‑counterfeiting and traceability empowering pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fast‑moving consumer goods and regional public‑brand protection, the Shenzhen Anti‑Counterfeiting & Traceability Association, together with Shenzhen IOT Media, is organising this themed exchange forum. The event brings together representatives from government regulatory authorities, industry associations, research institutions and leading enterprises. By sharing cutting‑edge technical achievements and benchmark implementation cases, it aims to address key industry pain points and build consensus for future development. Taking this forum as an opportunity, we hope to further improve the brand‑protection system, extend anti‑counterfeiting and traceability technologies to broader industrial scenarios, and jointly write a new chapter for high‑quality development within China’s anti‑counterfeiting sector.
