As the kick‑off year for the 15th Five‑Year Plan, 2026 marks a critical turning‑point for the embodied‑AI industry as it moves from technical exploration toward large‑scale implementation. As a core future‑industry underpinning new‑quality productive forces, embodied AI bridges digital intelligence and physical scenarios and serves as vital support for China’s drive toward new‑style industrialization.
Embodied AI has been explicitly included on the national key‑cultivation list for future industries in this year’s Government Work Report. Complemented by special‑policy initiatives for humanoid robots and real‑world embodied‑AI applications, the industry has moved beyond conceptual‑stage development and entered a brand‑new cycle driven by real‑world demand, on‑site deployment and accelerated industrial growth. Core domestic embodied‑AI technologies keep maturing, and product portfolios continue to diversify. Deployment is accelerating across industrial, livelihood‑related, healthcare‑and‑wellness and other scenarios, fueling rapid expansion of the industrial track. Nevertheless, bottlenecks remain: high‑quality achievements lack sufficient exposure, scenario‑matching is inefficient, and resource collaboration is inadequate.
Against this backdrop, the AGIC Organizing Committee joins forces with the World Artificial‑Intelligence & IoT Innovation Alliance (WAIA) to host AGIC 2026 Embodied AI Product Showcase. The event brings together leading innovative enterprises from the industry to showcase cutting‑edge annual products and real‑world achievements. It establishes a professional platform for industrial exchange, resource matching and supply‑demand interaction, facilitates technical‑achievement commercialization and product go‑to‑market, and promotes high‑quality, large‑scale development of the embodied‑AI industry.
