Recently, the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China released the "Guidelines for the Construction of a Comprehensive Standardization System for Smart Homes (2024 Edition)" (Draft for Comments), soliciting public opinions from the public.
The "Draft for Comments" mentioned that by 2030, there will be more than 50 newly formulated national and industry standards in the smart home field, basically covering basic standards, key technical standards and application scenario standards. Some standards will be transformed into international standards, and the standard technical level and international influence have been significantly improved, forming a smart home standard system suitable for China's development and national conditions in the new era. Accelerate the construction of standard verification service capabilities, focus on carrying out publicity and implementation demonstrations in areas with a high degree of integration of smart home industry and standardization, and serve smart home product, technology, and application innovation with high-quality standards.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology pointed out that my country's smart home industry has a large scale, sufficient consumption potential, wide development space, and comprehensive industrial coverage. It is one of the important guarantees to meet the people's growing needs for a better life. Since the release of the "Guidelines for the Construction of a Comprehensive Standardization System for Smart Homes" in 2016, the scale of my country's smart homes and related industries has expanded significantly, with the market size reaching 100 billion.
At present, as the role of smart home standards in promoting cross-field integration, traditional industry empowerment, high-quality development, and collaborative innovation in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain becomes more and more prominent, there is an urgent need to improve the smart home standard system, accelerate smart home technological innovation, and promote industry Orderly and standardized development.
In this regard, the "Draft for Comments" mentioned that a smart home standard system covering three major areas: basic commonality, key technologies and application scenarios has been constructed. Specifically, basic common standards provide the basic framework and general technical requirements for smart homes, key technical standards provide base support for technical implementation, and application scenario standards are specific specifications for smart home terminal functional performance and service processes. They complement each other and jointly promote the development of the smart home industry.
In terms of application scenario standards, the "Draft for Comments" focuses on eight scenarios, covering a total of 8 parts including smart maintenance, smart housework, smart security, smart energy, smart health, smart audio and video, smart car home and others.
1. Intelligent maintenance
Services such as health monitoring, behavioral testing, follow-up care, functional compensatory assistance, health trend analysis and other accompanying care needs and early warning, medical record management, health consultation and other services for children, the elderly, the disabled, pets and other groups in the family who require special care. In order to solve the problem of incomplete status monitoring and services for special groups in the family, relevant standards such as smart maintenance scene design requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, information service function requirements, and test specifications have been formulated.
2. Smart housework
Focusing on the demand for intelligent auxiliary services in housework activities such as cooking, shopping, maintenance, safety inspections, sanitation and disinfection, and study and tutoring, as well as the demand for intelligent equipment such as home service robots, in order to solve the problem of varying degrees of automation, intelligence, and convenience in housework activities, High, people invest a large proportion of time and energy in housework activities, etc., and formulate standards for the assessment of the intelligent level of housework in the whole house, intelligent perception and processing of home environment conditions, and technical requirements for home service robots.
3. Smart security
Focusing on the service needs in the home such as video surveillance, intrusion detection, water, electricity and toxic and harmful gas leakage sensing, remote operation and maintenance, and the needs of intelligent equipment such as smart cameras and smart alarms, in order to solve the problem of insufficient sensitivity and comprehensive judgment ability of home monitoring equipment, equipment To address issues such as aging and untimely operation and maintenance, we have formulated relevant standards such as smart security scene design requirements, remote access and control security requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, and test specifications.
4. Smart energy
Focusing on service needs such as autonomous adjustment of household energy consumption, low-power operation, comprehensive energy consumption analysis, and intelligent equipment needs such as comprehensive household energy consumption monitoring platforms, in order to solve the problem of insufficient matching between energy supply and user living habits and insufficient low-energy consumption operation mode settings, Complete and other issues, formulate relevant standards such as smart energy scenario design requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, system energy limit values and energy efficiency grade definition specifications, home energy information service platform technical requirements, test specifications and other standards.
5. Smart health
Focusing on the needs for intelligent services such as monitoring of health indicators of family members, sports and fitness, monitoring of air and temperature and humidity environments, analysis of physical health status, customization of exercise programs, and automatic adjustment of home environment, as well as the needs for intelligent equipment such as smart sports and smart wearables, we provide To solve problems such as untimely detection of abnormal physical status, unreasonable exercise plans, and inadequate indoor environmental pollution control, we formulate smart health scene design requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, health consultation information service technical specifications, and health indicator monitoring service technical specifications. Test specifications and other related standards.
6. Smart audio and video
Focusing on the needs for intelligent services such as home audio and video playback, cross-screen information transmission, rich media information push, and cloud games, as well as the needs for intelligent equipment such as smart display devices and smart speakers, in order to solve the problem of unblocked cross-screen rich media information transmission channels in the home, To solve problems such as single application mode, formulate relevant standards such as smart audio and video scene design requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, multi-screen interaction technical requirements, audio and video compression and coding technical specifications, and test specifications.
7. Smart Car Home
Focusing on the demand for intelligent services such as interconnection and multi-screen interaction between cars, mobile phones and smart home devices, as well as the demand for intelligent equipment such as smart cockpits, in order to solve the problem of insufficient extension of smart homes to other household facilities such as vehicles and lack of integration with the smart cockpit industry, etc. issues, and formulate relevant standards such as smart car home scene design requirements, equipment functional performance requirements, cockpit space intelligent service technical requirements, and test specifications.
8.Others
Other relevant standards for smart home application scenarios.
