Among the global IoT connections, which number far exceeds 10 billion, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are two important connection technologies.

 

Wi-Fi emphasizes transmission rate, while Bluetooth emphasizes low power consumption. In the past, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were often compared with other short-range wireless connection technologies, such as ZigBee, UWB, 2.4GHz private protocol, NFC, etc.

 

In 2023, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ushered in the most eye-catching "challenger" - NearLink. This is because the SLE standard launched by NearLink is more benchmarked against Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and the SLB standard is more benchmarked against Wi-Fi. In the future, NearLink will also release the ultra-wideband field standard SLP, which is expected to benchmark UWB.

 

The information that comes in front of us needs to be distinguished, but we not only need to get a conclusion on the results of the competition, but also realize that the short-range IoT technology and the corresponding IoT industry to which Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NearLink belong have room to enter value and compete for the market.

 

To this end, the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, in conjunction with Ulink media and IOTE Internet of Things Exhibition, jointly planned the "IOTE 2024 Shenzhen Wi-Fi & Bluetooth & NearLink Short Distance Communication IoT Technology Seminar"

This seminar will invite many outstanding companies and organizations in the field of short-range IoT technology to share the latest cutting-edge technical functions, product features, and solution effects, helping the outside world to understand the innovation and potential of the short-range IoT industry in a one-stop and comprehensive manner.

2. The conference will launch the "2024 Short-range Internet of Things-China Wi-Fi Bluetooth Star Flash Industry Research White Paper" produced by AIOT Starmap Research Institute, a professional research institution under Ulink Media, and provide free access to the report.
