Intelligent Communication Positioning Circle News on November 14th, Shanghai HiSilicon announced that the NearLink car key solution will soon be unlocked and put on the car, starting a new commercial journey.
It is understood that Shanghai HiSilicon, together with Yuanfeng Technology, has successfully developed the first digital car key solution with NearLink standard around NearLink technology innovation. This solution uses one in-car master module and four out-of-car slave modules to stably realize functions such as active welcome, touchless unlocking, key sharing, remote control parking, keyless start, multi-user connection, and OTA upgrade. It effectively solves the common problems of other digital keys such as "ping-pong" around the car and "penalty station" when approaching, and the user experience has been significantly improved.
At present, Yuanfeng Technology's NearLink digital car key has successfully obtained the project designation and is about to achieve mass production and installation.
With the rapid development of electric vehicles in terms of intelligence, electrification and networking, the new car assembly rate of digital car keys is expected to exceed 60% in 2025, entering the fast lane. Statistics show that the market demand for non-sensing functions is gradually increasing, and nearly 80% of users prefer and are willing to choose non-sensing car keys.
As a new generation of wireless short-range connection technology, NearLink technology has six core technical capabilities compared with traditional wireless short-range communication technology: low latency, high speed, high concurrency, high reliability, anti-interference, and precise positioning.
Digital car keys have always been the top application scenario of NearLink technology. The International NearLink Wireless Short-Range Communication Alliance has released a number of NearLink digital car key standards, which can provide users with an excellent user experience in terms of remote welcoming, unlocking and closing, smooth connection, and long battery life.
