According to the data from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, by the end of 2023, the number of people aged 60 and above in my country will reach 297 million, accounting for 21.1% of the total population, and the number of people aged 65 and above will reach 217 million, accounting for 15.4% of the total population. The problems of population aging and elderly care involve thousands of households and everyone's interests. General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee attach great importance to it and have elevated the active response to population aging to a national strategy. On January 15, 2024, the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Developing the Silver Economy to Improve the Well-being of the Elderly" was issued in the form of Document No. 1 of 2024. The opinions pointed out that a new format of smart health care should be created. Improve the promotion catalog of smart health care products and services, and promote the integrated application of new generation information technology and smart devices such as mobile terminals, wearable devices, and service robots in elderly care scenarios such as home, community, and institutions.
In order to actively respond to the national call, cope with the aging of the population, cultivate new momentum for the smart health care industry, and strengthen the interaction and communication between the upstream and downstream industries, the IOTE Smart Health Care Committee will hold the "IOTE 2024 Shenzhen Smart Health Care Ecological Conference" and the "Smart Health Care Ecological Exhibition Area" at the same time as the Shenzhen International Internet of Things Exhibition and the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Expo, in the form of "conference + exhibition", to jointly promote the development of the smart health care industry.
The conference will invite leading units, medical and health industry system integrators, community pilot project management units, elderly care industry service agencies, smart elderly care hardware manufacturers, etc., around smart health management, smart elderly care monitoring, smart elderly care services and other smart scenarios, share valuable experience to meet the diverse and multi-level elderly care needs of the elderly, so as to promote the development of the smart health care industry and further release the digital economy potential of the aging cause.
