Whenever a supply box with an RFID tag enters the shelf unit, the reader automatically reads the tag information and sends it to the system center. Combined with the weight sensor measurement, the system can accurately determine when supplies need to be replenished, thus avoiding production interruptions caused by out-of-stock conditions.
