In his keynote report titled "Smart IoT Technology and Industry Development Trends," Xie Bin, Deputy Director of the Data and Intelligence Business Department at the Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, highlighted five key initiatives for the future development of the smart IoT industry:

First, against the backdrop of the rapid development of AI technologies such as general-purpose large models and embodied intelligence, we should rethink the conceptual boundaries of the IoT and strengthen preliminary research on the development trends of IoT technologies and industries during the 15th Five-Year Plan. Second, we should select cities with strong foundations to conduct pilot projects to measure the scale of the IoT industry, gain a clear understanding of the situation, and prioritize targeted initiatives. Third, we should leverage the IoT's strengths in data collection and transmission, initiate research on a technology landscape for "edge intelligence for IoT," build a public service platform, and strengthen common capabilities. Fourth, we should leverage specialized scenarios such as the industrial Internet and the digital transformation of manufacturing, smart cities and urban digital transformation, intelligent driving, and smart health to drive the large-scale development of IoT applications. Fifth, through an iterative "demand-technology-standard" model, we should build a technology and industry resonance system that integrates the full stack capabilities of AI and IoT, generating two-way gains, and promote integrated innovation in the smart IoT.

Roger, Hongmeng Ecosystem Product Manager for Huawei's Terminal Cloud Developer Service Product Department, pointed out in his keynote speech on "Software and Hardware Collaborative Innovation Solutions" that the traditional "service search" process is lengthy and fragmented, becoming the biggest pain point in improving the digital experience in the industry.

The software and hardware collaborative solution proposed by the Hongmeng ecosystem deeply fits the innovative concept of "near field communication" and has been implemented through multi-dimensional technical paths. The specific methods include:

(1) iTAP (Intelligent Touchless & Awareless Proximity) "touch and touch" based on NFC technology: supports two-way communication between mobile phones and devices, and realizes millisecond-level close-range interactive response;

(2) Aggregate "Hongmeng Tag": has the dual attributes of touch and scan, can break the connection barriers between different types of devices, and simplify the multi-device pairing process;

(3) Beacon device short-range communication: through the close-range data interaction between the beacon and the mobile phone, accurately identify the user scenario and push the adapted scenario-based service;

(4) POI fence geo-positioning: relying on the precise definition of the geographic location by the POI fence, it can cover the target population in a specific near-field area, providing precise spatial reach support for near-field collaborative services.

At present, the Harmony ecosystem's software and hardware collaborative innovation solution with near-field communication characteristics has been implemented in many industries such as culture and tourism, catering, finance, supermarkets, digital exhibition halls, etc., significantly driving the introduction of private domain traffic and the activeness of meta-services.
