Shenzhen AloT Industry-Education Integration High-Skilled Talent Training Seminar

The report of the 20th CPC National Congress pointed out that we should "coordinate the innovation of vocational education, higher education and continuing education, promote the integration of vocational education and general education, industry-education integration, and science-education integration, and then optimize the positioning of vocational education types". As China's special economic zone and innovation highland, Shenzhen is in urgent need of artificial intelligence Internet of Things (AloT) talents.

In order to cultivate more high-skilled talents that meet market demand and promote the integration of industry and education as an important task in the current education field, on June 14, the "Shenzhen AloT Industry-Education Integration High-Skilled Talent Training Seminar" co-organized by the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association and the Shenzhen Workers Education and Vocational Training Association was successfully held at Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College. Nearly 20 executives from 3 main board listed companies, 1 state-owned enterprise, 4 national-level specialized "little giants", 1 "Shenzhen well-known brand" enterprise, and 2 national high-tech enterprises gathered together to discuss how to strengthen the integration of industry and education and promote the cultivation of high-skilled talents in the Internet of Things industry. Zheng Huabing, Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association, attended and presided over the meeting. Qiu Xiaoyang, a teacher at Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College, was the general coordinator of the meeting.

Wu Bo, Party Secretary and President of Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College, said in his opening speech that this seminar aims to deeply explore the important role and practical experience of industry-education integration in AloT talent training, gather the wisdom and strength of the artificial intelligence Internet of Things industry, education and academia, and jointly create a platform that promotes both technological innovation and talent training in the AIoT field, so as to promote industry-education integration to a deeper level and higher level.

President Wu Bo emphasized that in the face of the rapid development and technological changes in the AIoT industry, the college will continue to optimize the curriculum system, strengthen practical teaching, and work closely with enterprises to ensure that the educational content is synchronized with industry needs. Through this seminar, it is hoped that a long-term and stable communication and cooperation mechanism will be established to promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research, and jointly promote the innovation and development of the AIoT industry.

Keynote Speech

Li Mouxun, dean of the School of Intelligent Technology at Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College, took the theme of "Construction of the Internet of Things Application Technology Major at Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College and Cooperation Discussion" to fully introduce the necessity and feasibility of setting up the Internet of Things Application Technology major, as well as the talent training plan. He emphasized the importance of school-enterprise cooperation and put forward suggestions on strengthening cooperation with industry enterprises to jointly promote the training of Internet of Things technical talents and technology research and development.

Dr. Zhou Shouqin, Chairman of the Global Smart Container Industry Alliance and Professor-level Senior Engineer, shared his thoughts on the theme of "Thoughts on the Training of IoT Engineering and Technical Talents for Industry-Education Integration". Zhou Shouqin emphasized the importance of industry-education integration in cultivating high-quality engineering and technical talents. He proposed that through practical teaching and project-driven methods, students' learning interest and innovation ability can be better stimulated, and more outstanding talents with practical experience can be provided to the industry.

Pang Guanshi, chief engineer of EVOC Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., professor-level senior engineer, and deputy director of the National Special Computer Engineering Technology Center, shared his views on the topic of "The pain points and difficulties of intelligent Internet of Things in vocational education and the cultivation of high-skilled talents", and deeply analyzed the industry background and main problems of the current artificial intelligence Internet of Things. Pang Guanshi emphasized the importance and potential of combining Internet of Things technology with artificial intelligence, and how to improve students' practical operation and problem-solving abilities.

Signing ceremony

Subsequently, a signing ceremony for school-enterprise cooperation was held at the seminar. The companies that signed contracts with Shenzhen Pengcheng Technician College this time include Shenzhen New Generation Industrial Park, Shenzhen Xianshi Technology Co., Ltd., Youkai Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Jingfeng Crystal Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunpeng Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongyi (Shenzhen) Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Aclet Technology Co., Ltd.

The signing of school-enterprise cooperation mainly focuses on "joint construction of training bases, two-way commissioned training, order training, on-the-job internships, and integration of work and study". Through this model, the school can adjust the curriculum and professional direction according to the actual needs of the enterprise, and the enterprise can participate in the entire process of talent training to ensure that students can quickly adapt to the workplace after graduation and meet the needs of industry development. At the same time, this close cooperative relationship will also help promote the integrated development of industry, academia and research, realize resource sharing, complementary advantages, and promote the common progress of both schools and enterprises.

Discussion

During the exchange and discussion session, the heads of participating companies had an in-depth discussion on two topics: how the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association can play a role in promoting Internet of Things vocational education and how to talk about vocational education and high-skilled talent training based on the actual situation of their companies. They shared their respective companies' experiences and challenges in talent training, technological innovation and industrial development.

At the same time, everyone also discussed the establishment of a closer school-enterprise cooperation model to cultivate more high-skilled IoT professionals that meet future market needs and help the IoT industry develop rapidly and with high quality.

The successful holding of this seminar means that the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association has injected new vitality into the cultivation of high-skilled talents. Through case sharing and discussion, it has a certain positive effect on improving the quality of talent cultivation in the AIoT field, and has laid a solid foundation for cultivating more high-skilled talents for future industrial development.
