On the evening of August 27, 2025, Ulink Media, along with title sponsors Sichuang Yihui and Mashang Technology, and gold sponsor Avery Dennison, held the RFID Elite Dinner as scheduled at the Hilton Hotel in the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center. Over 300 RFID industry experts gathered to hear cutting-edge industry trend analysis, learn about the latest technological achievements and product developments, and deepen their understanding of each other over drinks.
The dinner began with opening remarks from several industry leaders. Wang Wanyuan, Deputy General Manager of Sichuang Yihui Technology Co., Ltd., welcomed and thanked the industry leaders, technical experts, and partners in attendance. Mr. Wang stated that Sichuang Yihui has over 20 years of experience in IoT technology R&D and industrial applications, possessing comprehensive industry chain capabilities and providing diversified, customized solutions to support clients' digital transformation. Mashang Technology's "Smart Code System" provides a one-stop digital solution for anti-counterfeiting, traceability, and marketing across all product categories. Faced with relevant market development opportunities, the two companies have deepened multi-industry applications through various initiatives, using QR code and RFID technology to connect the physical and digital worlds to create industrial value. On behalf of Avery Dennison, Pan Gao, National Sales Director of Label and Packaging Materials, thanked all industry colleagues for taking the time to attend the dinner. Pan stated that since entering China in 1994, Avery Dennison has established a nationwide sales network and rapid response mechanism, including advanced coating plants in Kunshan and Guangzhou, offices and slitting centers in 18 cities, and strengthened customer trust through free technical training and on-site support during the pandemic. Avery Dennison is committed to providing label material solutions for a wide range of industries, including fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and industrial applications. He expressed his hope for mutually beneficial collaboration with partners across the value chain.
Min Hao, professor at the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Circuits and Systems at Fudan University and chairman of Shanghai Kunrui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., also delivered an opening speech at the dinner. He gave an outlook on the RFID industry and expressed confidence in the opportunities that AGI will bring to the RFID industry due to its need for massive amounts of accurate data.
Next, we will move on to the first speech. Wu Weibin, deputy general manager of Zhejiang MaShang Technology Co., Ltd., will give a keynote speech entitled "One Item, One Code: Building an IoT Ecosystem and Innovating Unlimited Applications". Mr. Wu first introduced the company: Zhejiang MaShang Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2009. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a company listed on the New Third Board. It is located in Cangnan County and has its own factory and domestic "Internet of Things + Printing and Packaging" production base. It codes 11 billion products annually and specializes in providing companies with digital identity management solutions for goods. It develops software platforms, smart codes, and RFID digital packaging products. The core product "Smart Code System" integrates anti-counterfeiting, traceability and other functions in one, and can provide anti-counterfeiting packaging, labeling and other product services and customized solutions. It has rich development milestones, such as receiving strategic investment from Tsinghua University Yangtze River Delta Research Institute in 2017, cooperating with the team of Nobel Prize winner in Physics Constantine in 2018, participating in the construction of Cangnan QR Code and Carbon Footprint Innovation Center (total investment of 750 million) in 2024, and In the past few years, Sichuang Yihui has invested in the company through a private placement. It also has advanced production equipment and full-link production capabilities. Relying on the MaShang SAAS cloud platform, with a strong team and service guarantees, it is committed to making RFID tags affordable for more industries and customers, and promoting the development of the packaging Internet of Things industry.
Next, Zhou Yan, Head of RFID Supplementary Materials Sales at Avery Dennison, delivered a keynote speech titled "RFID Supplementary Materials and New Product Applications." She first introduced Avery Dennison: As a global materials science and manufacturing company, Avery Dennison has over 32,000 employees worldwide, with sales expected to reach $8.4 billion in 2024 and operations in 50 countries. Avery Dennison offers a one-stop solution for customers' RFID label material needs, offering a diverse product selection, reliable quality control, and simplified procurement channel management. She then detailed relevant products in various fields, including the LP430 and AP103 for general-purpose applications in footwear, apparel, and food; the S692NP, SF603P, and Minidose U9 RFID inlay for pharmaceutical applications; the AT20 for low-temperature applications; the AR101 and SR123 for removable applications; and the DS015, UP801, and SD7030F for the electronics and automotive industries. She also provided a variety of tapes, specialized IML (In-Mold RFID Inlay), and vulcanization-resistant embedded RFID for tires.
Afterward, Zang Rui, Director of Value Chain Engineering at DiKaEasy, shared his experience with RFID applications in the retail industry from a user perspective, while Zhang Zhongliang, Head of the AIOT Star Map Research Institute, presented the newly released "2025 China RFID Passive IoT Industry White Paper."
In the final sharing session, Chen Jianghan, Deputy General Manager of Wulian Media, introduced the World Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Innovation Alliance (WAIA). WAIA was jointly launched in August 2024 by AIOT industry associations, leading companies, and over 100 international experts from over 15 countries and regions.
