Han Xingchen, product manager of Xiamen Star Link Technology Co., LTD

Based on rich experience in industry projects, Han Xingchen shared some of the project pain points encountered, summed up mainly in three aspects: first, customer demands, there are currently high equipment use threshold, single data docking method and other problems, if you can not solve these problems will lose part of the customer market;

The second is the deployment problem, including the gateway signal coverage is difficult to measure, the equipment lacks batch deployment means and the deployment hardware lacks mapping information;

Third, it is difficult to maintain the equipment, difficult to upgrade, high cost and low efficiency.

In the face of various problems, the company actively uses its own research and development capabilities and innovation capabilities, through a variety of sensor fusion, AI fusion technology, to develop products that are stable and reliable, easy to use/easy to integrate, and solve the problems and troubles of users in actual scenarios.

Star Internet of Things has been committed to the application and promotion of Internet of Things wireless technology, play their own ability and value, reduce the use of LoRa threshold and cost, so that LoRa audience is larger, more convenient to use, more extensive promotion, so that the product is better for the digital transformation and upgrading of various industries.

Semtech LoRa Champion Dick Wu

Dick Wu introduced the innovation points of LoRa Stack from the perspective of protocol stack, mainly reflected in higher position-aware accuracy (25% improvement) and success rate, more diversified functions, relay and single-channel LoRaWAN HUB, and firmware upgrades.

In addition, Dick Wu also introduced,

Semtech has already launched the third generation of LoRa,

Including LoRa Edge and LoRaConnect, the difference between the two is that the former supports positioning functions and extremely low power consumption, while the latter focuses on connectivity functions, supporting Sub-GHz, SATCOM S-BAND, 2.4GHz, and Sigfox and Helium.

Application exploration of LoRa ecology in campus scene

image.png

Zhang Jingping, university Solution Manager of Zhengyuan Wisdom Group Co., LTD

Zhang Jingping said that the application direction of LoRa technology in the command campus scene includes smart medical treatment, experimental practical training, smart venues, safe campus, smart apartment, smart classroom, green campus and so on.

In the university scene, it has the characteristics of demand fragmentation, multiple scenes/large area/discontinuity, rapid response to sudden demand, and not all locations have the characteristics of electricity and network. In this case, LoRa technology is based on its wide coverage, strong anti-interference ability, low power consumption, lightweight, large number of access terminals, and safe and reliable characteristics, coupled with the star-vertical iot D2D communication (D

evice toDevice can achieve high-speed response within 1 second, no gateway independent deployment, no clock or beacon synchronization, compatible with LoRaWAN communication protocol and data security encryption transmission, truly achieve a large range of high time data transmission.

How to accurately select LoRa network in multiple scenarios

Lierda Technology Group Co., LTD. Wireless product development manager Gu Chaojie

Gu Chaojie analyzed the common pain points of LoRa technology in customer application scenarios and the advantages of Lilda in low power consumption and long-distance communication, focusing on Lilda's LoRa networking technology, including flexible network topology, low power solution, no network configuration, distributed dynamic routing and anti-collision mechanism.

The practical application and advantages of LoRa technology are demonstrated through industrial sensors, mining safety and outdoor search and rescue industry application cases.

Low power narrowband wireless communication technology requirements for smart buildings

image.png

Senior iot expert Gan Quan

Gan Quan introduced that at present, the national standards related to smart buildings are mainly concentrated on the wiring and design-related construction requirements, while the national standards related to smart building network systems and information systems are still blank.

Therefore, the formulation of the "Low-power narrowband wireless Communication Technology Requirements for Smart Buildings" can not only further standardize the planning and construction of low-power wireless networks for smart buildings, provide technical support for the application of wireless communication technology in smart buildings, but also further promote the development of wireless communication technology solutions in the field of smart buildings.

According to Oasis, the standard has submitted a technical requirements document in May this year, and it is expected that the Standards Court will formally establish the project and solicit opinions this year, and issue a formal industry standard in 2025.

The exploration of digital intelligence in space operation management and the application of LoRa technology

image.png

Chen Feilie, general manager of Operation Optimization Center of Shanghai Electric Group Digital Technology Co., LTD

In the space digital technology scenario, Internet of Things technology is faced with many challenges such as compatibility between different protocols, data security and privacy, data transmission rate, equipment energy consumption, signal coverage and so on.

In this case, there is a need for a technology that can help achieve lightweight implementation, low-cost deployment, sustainable operation, and data analysis.

At the same time, physical space and digital space continue to interact, influence and drive, forming a new "space twin".

Chen Feilie said that around the "LoRa technology + space twin "generated by the combination of smart space and communication solutions, it is to the enterprise operation management refined and" people-oriented "experience as the goal, to build integrated control, sustainable iteration of the number of intelligent space.

This scheme can reduce the continuous investment of managers, carry out refined control of energy saving and cost reduction, promote the continuous optimization of enterprise management, and extend more scenarios with the iteration of artificial intelligence technology.

When LoRa met the Apocalypse Satellite Internet of Things

image.png

Hao Li, product director of Beijing Guodian High-tech Technology Co., LTD

At present, in various iot applications, there are still problems such as relatively difficult data collection or data transmission, so it is urgent to have a solution with sufficient iot characteristics (such as small data, multi-concurrency, low power consumption, easy deployment, easy operation and maintenance, low cost) and highly cost-effective combination solutions.

Holly said that the combination of LoRa and the Apocalypse low-orbit satellite iot can just meet these needs, and the combination of the two can break the application limitations of the ground LoRa network in remote/no-network areas, and work together to achieve seamless global coverage of low-power iot applications.

The construction and innovative application of LoRa in smart power plants

image.png

Wu Xingsheng, pre-sales director of Haoyun Technology Co., LTD

Regarding the development trend of Internet of Things technology in smart power plants, Wu Xingsheng mentioned the following four aspects: First, the demand for new technologies is strong, taking thermal power plants as an example, the trial and application of new technologies are far faster than other industrial scenarios, and under the safe production system, new technologies, new products and new solutions can be rapidly tested and applied.

Secondly, management business is a basic need, the application of Internet of Things technology for "business management, system implementation, standard landing" service, so that the system application personnel become the master of the system!

Then, equipment stability is the core, ubiquitous Internet of Things technology gradually permeates to the control region, how to provide more stable iot sensor data is the core issue of the next step in the construction of smart power plants.

Finally, network security is the key, the severe international struggle situation continues to pull up the "security" bottom line, equipment security, network security, data security is the eternal theme of smart power plant.

Discussion on LoRa physical layer optimization technology

image.png

Wang Lu, associate professor, Shenzhen University

Synsensory integration technology is an innovative solution that integrates communication and perception functions. By integrating communication base stations, satellite communications, positioning, drones and other key infrastructure, a collaborative network system is formed to provide seamless communication and high-precision perception services.

Wang Lu discussed the possibility of synaesthesia of LoRa from the technical level.

A soft demodulation algorithm based on likelihood ratio is used to dynamically adjust demodulation parameters to improve the communication performance, and high confidence symbols are selected in the soft demodulation communication module to obtain the channel state information.

From the experimental results, the use of existing commercial nodes, without modifying LoRaWAN, without adding additional sensors, can indeed improve the communication capability and get the perception function.
