Smart Emotion Recognition AI

 

Remote Photoplethysmography (rPPG) uses reflected ambient light to measure subtle changes in skin brightness. These changes are caused by blood flow resulting from heartbeats. Typically, rPPG can generate signals similar to BVP, which can be used to predict heart rate, respiratory rate, and other physiological indicators.

 

The technical principle behind the Smart Emotion Recognition AI is that when exposed to external stimuli, the autonomic nervous system undergoes unconscious changes, leading to corresponding alterations in various physiological parameters. These physiological signals manifest psychologically as a person's stress levels and emotional state. Through long-term research based on billions of measurement data points, the fluctuations and complex expression patterns of the autonomic nervous system are reverse-engineered from heartbeat interval time-series signals, and corresponding stress states and emotional states are identified. This enables early warnings for dangerous emotions such as tension, anxiety, and anger.

 

The principle of facial emotion recognition involves obtaining physiological indicators such as heart rate and respiratory rate through rPPG, then using the intelligent emotion recognition AI algorithm to identify emotional data.

The primary application scenarios include the healthcare industry, campus education, military and police training, group counseling, and high-risk, high-pressure industries. It is primarily used for psychological health screening of individuals and for monitoring and caring for personnel.
