Industry trend|Click to Explore! Recent Consumer Security Camera New Releases Showcase

2025-01-24

According to statistics and forecasts from relevant institutions, the sales volume of domestic consumer surveillance cameras in China will reach 56 million units in 2024, a year-on-year increase of about 5%. Among them, the sales volume of online omni-channels will reach 29.88 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12%.

Entering 2025, in the context of the increasingly prominent trend of intelligence and high-definition, the technological iteration and innovation speed of visual consumer security surveillance cameras is still remarkable. Below, Visual IoT has sorted out the new camera products released by some security manufacturers recently. Let's see what innovations these products have!

Xiaotun Dangjia: Outdoor Camera 5 4K Edition

Huawei Zhixuan Xiaotun Dangjia Outdoor Camera 5 4K Edition is upgraded to 8 million pixels, supports IPS image technology, and AI algorithm image tuning. According to the introduction, this camera is not only equipped with 5000K white light + infrared night vision sensor, and supports three night vision modes; it is also equipped with HiSilicon connection solution, supports WiFi 6 network, and can realize WiFi and network cable dual network connection.

In addition, the Xiaotun Home Outdoor Camera 5 4K version has a built-in new generation AI image algorithm, which supports human detection, automatic inspection, vehicle detection, human tracking, and auxiliary flame detection. The camera is also connected to the Huawei Smart Life App, which supports the push of dynamic messages at home, and supports Hongmeng Smart Link whole-house linkage/Hongmeng Smart Driving linkage viewing (speaker voice control, door lock scene sensing, super desktop projection linkage viewing).

TP-LINK: The third generation of gun-ball linkage camera "Snowy Owl X"

TP-LINK's third generation gun-ball linkage camera - Snowy Owl X, has multiple pixel options such as dual-channel 3 million, dual-channel 4 million, and dual-channel 5 million. The picture is clear and transparent, and it is in full-color mode day and night. It supports three fill light modes: infrared, full color, and mobile/human detection full color.

According to the official introduction, the upper gun of the X series gun-ball linkage camera has 8 fill lights (including 4 infrared fill lights and 4 white light fill lights), and the lower ball camera has 4 fill lights (including 2 infrared fill lights and 2 white light fill lights). Both use TP-LINK's self-developed array fill light technology. Through scientific modeling and simulation, integrated sensor, lens and other optical models, the image can be more transparent and the monitoring picture clearer. In addition, in a wide range of monitoring scenarios, the X series gun-ball linkage camera can turn on the gun-ball linkage tracking function, and can also perform manual tracking.

The X series gun-ball linkage has two-way monitoring: gun camera and ball camera. The gun, ball and ball cameras can be staggered to cover the monitoring scenes of two different areas, one camera can replace two cameras. At the same time, the ball camera can start intelligent tracking separately to track the movement of people and vehicles in key areas, taking into account two-way scenes.

Tiandi Weiye: Multi-spectral AI Fireworks Detection Dome

Tiandi Weiye's multi-spectral AI firework detection dome has 360° panoramic monitoring capabilities, built-in high-precision thermal imaging modules, and high-sensitivity temperature detectors. Through intelligent recognition algorithms, it can accurately identify flame characteristics and temperature anomalies and link alarms, allowing fire warnings to move from "response" to "prediction".

In addition to fixed-point monitoring, the camera also has wide dynamic and night vision enhancement technology. Whether in a dim underground garage or a closed storage room, it can output clear images, easily cope with backlight, shadows and low-light environments, and minimize the risk of missing fires.
