Industry Contribution Award Presentation: A Tribute to Industry Promoters
After Bai Weimin's speech, the conference entered the important award ceremony. During his tenure, Bai Weimin made significant contributions to the development of mainland China's LCD display industry and cross-strait cooperation. Even after retirement, he remained active in the display industry. In January 2025, he pushed for the import tariff on e-paper display modules to be reduced from 8% to a temporary zero tariff, saving local companies nearly 100 million yuan in tariffs annually. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, the Executive Council of the Electronic Paper Industry Alliance resolved to present him with the "2025 Industry Contribution Award."
