The World AIoT Innovation Alliance (WAIA) aims to unite AIoT upstream and downstream industry associations and outstanding enterprises in various countries and regions around the world to establish a world-class industry cooperation public welfare organization. WAIA will sort out and integrate the advantageous resources and unique capabilities of all parties in the global industry to form an organic industry ecosystem, accurately match resources and cooperation, and fully promote the application cooperation, R&D innovation, standard setting and market expansion of global AIoT technology, and truly realize the vision and dream of "intelligent connection of all things and global prosperity".
On August 28, 2024, a total of about 100 AIoT industry associations, outstanding enterprises and government agencies from 15 countries and regions including China, the United States, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau jointly launched the preparatory ceremony of the World AIoT Innovation Alliance at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center.

WAIA has established four major branches, including the Organization Branch, Business Cooperation Branch, Industry Service Branch, and Academic Institution Branch, focusing on the upstream and downstream of the AIoT industry and related industries, to jointly promote the application cooperation, R&D innovation, standard setting and market expansion services of global AIoT technology.
WAIA future construction goals
1. "AIoT industry organization member" development goals: at least one organization from major countries and regions around the world, such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Africa, etc., will join, with a total number of more than 150. These institutions will become the first stop for the global development of alliance members.
2. "AIoT business cooperation member" development goals: 100 large enterprise member units, 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprise member units (500 Chinese member units, 600 non-Chinese member units), effectively linking more than 10,000 downstream important enterprises such as overseas system integrators, software developers, distributors, etc., to help all members form a global benign cooperation ecology.
3. Development goal of "Industry Service Members": Select 100 excellent service agencies engaged in legal services, intellectual property, certification services, marketing, logistics, taxation, industrial service platforms, industrial parks, etc., and serve the global development of alliance members with professional capabilities and preferential prices.
4. Development goal of "Experts and Scientific Research Institutions": Invite 150 corporate technology leaders, 300 academic experts and scholars, and 100 government researchers who pay attention to and have global cutting-edge technologies, application standards and innovative research capabilities to join the alliance to jointly study the construction of a global top-level architecture for the development and popularization of cutting-edge technologies.
5. Development goal of "Government and Authoritative Institutions": Invite more than 100 official authoritative institutions such as government agencies, the United Nations, and the International Organization for Standardization to become supporting units or partners.
6. WAIA digitalization goal: Establish a global database platform for the alliance's global official website and various types of members and cooperative units, and continue to lay out the construction of a global media matrix to provide strong database support and publicity support for the development of the WAIA alliance and its members.
