Wang Haitao, senior engineer of Postal Research and Planning Institute Co., Ltd. and technical director of China Post Internet of Things Technology Application Innovation Laboratory, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Application Scenarios, Demands and China Post's Attempts of Passive Internet of Things in the Express Logistics Industry". He introduced the ten major application scenarios of passive Internet of Things in the express logistics industry, including intelligent inventory counting, logistics asset management, package positioning and path tracking, etc., and analyzed the challenges faced by the industry in terms of cost, production capacity, environment, etc. At the same time, he elaborated on China Post's attempts and achievements in single-item parcel delivery, general package auxiliary sorting and low-altitude logistics, and demonstrated how passive Internet of Things technology can help the express logistics industry improve efficiency, optimize management and promote green development.

Qu Kaiyang, vice president of Huawei's wireless product line 5G-A field, delivered a keynote speech entitled "5G-A cellular passive Internet of Things is heading towards commercial use, and win-win new opportunities for the intelligent connection of all things". He elaborated in detail on the development trend and broad commercial prospects of 5G-A cellular passive Internet of Things technology, emphasizing that this technology will promote the realization of full-scenario Internet of Things and make everything interconnected. He further introduced the significance of 3GPP's first introduction of 5G-A cellular passive IoT technology and its core capabilities: 5G-A cellular passive IoT focuses on three high-value application scenarios and demonstrates six key capabilities, which accurately match the urgent needs of the industry and can achieve end-to-end solutions. At present, the industry ecosystem of this technology is becoming increasingly mature. Finally, he fully demonstrated its commercial value by showing successful application models in multiple industries, and called on colleagues in the industry to work together to seize new opportunities in the 100 billion-level intelligent interconnection market.

ZHANG Yong, deputy general manager of RAN products at ZTE, gave a keynote speech on "Key Technologies and Practices of 5G-A Cellular Passive Base Stations". He emphasized the need for ultra-low-cost and ultra-low-power IoT technologies for all-round and full-chain digitalization, and pointed out the importance of passive IoT in achieving green connectivity throughout the entire process. He then elaborated on the two key aspects of passive IoT technology - low cost and ultra-low power consumption, and demonstrated ZTE's innovations in cellular passive base station technology, including breakthroughs in coverage enhancement, efficiency improvement, and positioning accuracy. At the same time, he shared ZTE's practical cases in the field of cellular passive IoT, such as the successful application of office parks and warehouse scenarios, and looked forward to the future full-scenario commercial plan, including the commercialization of a full range of indoor and outdoor products and the enhancement of multiple key technologies. Finally, he expressed ZTE's willingness to explore new spaces for passive IoT with all sectors of the industry.

Gu Honghai, senior chip application support manager of Caravelle, gave a keynote speech on "5G-A passive tag chip: the inevitable development of passive tag technology from point and area to full coverage". He introduced in detail the system, characteristics, advantages and market growth trends of passive RFID technology, especially the wide application and huge potential of UHF RFID in logistics, retail and other fields. At the same time, he emphasized Caravelle's innovation in ultra-low-cost trusted tag chip technology, including the world's original X-RFID chip technology and RF-o-ID minimalist read-only chip technology. Finally, he looked forward to the huge demand for 5G-A cellular passive tags in global management, as well as the application prospects of this technology in scenarios such as warehousing and logistics, asset tracking, etc., which is expected to vigorously promote the development of passive Internet of Things towards global coverage and intelligence in the future.

Next is the last part of this forum - the 5G-A passive Internet of Things development outlook theme roundtable forum. Li Zhuofang, director of the Technology Industry Department of the Mobile Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Wei Yao, director of the 5G Customized Network and Internet of Things Research Team of China Telecom Mobile and Terminal Technology Research Institute, Ma Shuai, deputy director of the Internet of Things Technology and Application Research Institute of China Mobile Communications Research Institute, Yang Longbo, general manager of the Communication Chip Business Unit of Xinsheng Technology, and Cao Gen, chief researcher of China Unicom Research Institute, had a wonderful discussion on topics of concern such as the progress of passive Internet of Things standards, application scenarios, and follow-up planning.

So far, all links of this forum have ended. This forum has received widespread attention. Many audiences came from afar. Some audiences stood for the whole time because they had no seats. I would like to express my deep apologies. Thank you for your support. I hope to continue to work with you to shape the bright future of passive Internet of Things!
