IOTE2024 Shanghai|Prepare for the explosion of RFID applications in China — RFID Passive Internet of Things Ecological Seminar was successfully held in Shanghai

2024-04-28

On the later of April 24, 2024, IOTE 2024·Shanghai RFID Passive Internet of Things Ecological Seminar was hosted by Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association and hosted by ULINK Media, RFID World Network, AIoT Star Map Research Institute, IOTE Internet of Things Exhibition, and AIOT Library The seminar was held as scheduled at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The venue was packed with seats, and some viewers said they “couldn’t even stand.”

At 14:00 in the afternoon, Zhang Zhongliang, head and host of the AIOT Star Map Research Institute, announced the official start of the meeting. He mentioned that RFID has grown beyond expectations in recent years, but at the same time, domestic growth seems to be not as good as abroad. Therefore, it is quite necessary to hold RFID conferences such as the Shanghai RFID Passive Internet of Things Ecological Seminar in China to promote the development of RFID in the country. After that, the meeting entered the guest speech session.

The first speaker was Min Hao, chairman and general manager of Shanghai Kunrui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Min said that under the current background of the country’s vigorous promotion of information industrialization integration and digital transformation, RFID technology has been applied in many industries in our country. . As a company focusing on the research and development of RFID chips, Kunrui Electronics has always adhered to the concept of independent innovation since its establishment and provided high-quality domestic chips for various industries. Kunrui’s RFID tag products have been widely used in wine anti-counterfeiting, power asset management, industrial manufacturing, logistics retail, smart transportation and other fields, helping companies achieve efficient and accurate asset monitoring and reduce operating costs. At the same time, Kunrui has also continued to cooperate with industry partners such as China Mobile in recent years to participate in the research and development of passive IoT technology and the formulation of standard documents to jointly promote the 5G-A technology industry process and contribute to the high-quality development of a digitally intelligent society.

David Moore, the CEO of Pragmatic Semiconductor, hailing from the UK, presented Pragmatic’s groundbreaking flexible IC solution for sustainable item-level intelligent management. Moore emphasized the global challenge of carbon emissions, highlighting the pivotal role digital technology plays in driving industry transformation and reducing emissions by 20%. Pragmatic employs innovative flexible integrated circuit technology, yielding low-cost, ultra-thin circuits sans silicon. This approach boasts shorter production cycles, reduced resource consumption, and sustainability at scale, making it an economically viable NFC solution.

The third speaker was Zhou Yang, Product Marketing Manager of STMicroelectronics’ Security and Connectivity Division. Mr. Zhou said that in the face of the growing demand for security encryption in the NFC market, users need more than just a logo, but also pay more attention to anti-counterfeiting and ownership in the circulation process. Authentication function. One problem with traditional encryption is that the key transmission process is not secure. Combined with blockchain, asymmetric encryption can solve this problem very well. Therefore, STMicroelectronics launched the NFC tag chip ST25TA-E with an encryption mechanism for the first time, combining NFC and blockchain to achieve strong identity identification. Different from general chips, the digital signature generated by ST25TA-E each time is randomly generated on the chip, which greatly improves the non-replicability. By applying high-level encryption algorithms, it protects data security and brings more security to customers. Application experience.

The next speaker was Nie Wenfeng, CTO of Shanghai Wojie Software Co., Ltd. Mr. Nie said that in order to ensure the quality and performance of imported photovoltaic modules, India has formulated standards for RFID tags affixed to photovoltaic modules, including heat resistance, moisture resistance, and UV performance, etc. Wojie Software is one of the earliest domestic manufacturers to implement RFID solar photovoltaic module management. In order to meet the needs of photovoltaic companies to enter overseas markets, it has developed an RFID photovoltaic module production traceability system. Since 2010, it has cooperated with many large domestic photovoltaic companies. (such as: Risen Energy, TCL Zhonghuan, Fox, JA Solar, LDK, etc.) to establish cooperation, customized and developed systems that comply with different data formats, achieved traceability for millions of modules, and helped these companies achieve production Process optimization and management efficiency improvement.

The next speaker was Li Hongcheng, solution consultant of Shanghai Yunyu Information Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Li introduced the application of RFID technology in the automotive industry from production lines to lineside logistics, vehicle logistics and other aspects in the form of actual cases, including molds Management, body tracking of the four major workshops, linkage between production and logistics, parts and container management, vehicle logistics, parts coding, and further introduces new technologies such as passive RFID electronic paper tags, RFID+AI identification, and smart shelves. Product application exploration.

Later, Lu Peng, general manager of Shanghai Zhongka System Integration Co., Ltd., shared. Mr. Lu said that since the successful transformation of Shanghai Zhongka Systems Company in 2017, the company has been committed to providing IoT management solutions for both police equipment and medical reagents. Aiming at various pain points in police equipment management, such as loss, mistaking, and damage of police equipment, information leakage collection from law enforcement recorders, etc., we independently developed a set of professional and complete RFID management system solutions. This solution not only covers the software platform, but also develops a series of RFID police equipment management smart cabinets and other hardware products. For example, products such as RFID smart individual police equipment cabinets and public equipment cabinets are a complete set of RFID smart cabinets suitable for accessing and counting police equipment and materials. They have a highly integrated integrated control screen and a highly friendly human-computer interaction interface. , which facilitates easy control to complete daily operations such as opening and closing cabinet doors, receiving and returning equipment, entering basic police information such as facial information, and inventorying equipment.

The next speaker was Cheng Fuxing, channel manager of Shenzhen Wanquan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Cheng introduced the application of RFID industrial identification in semiconductor factories. In semiconductor workshops, RFID is widely used in process management, such as semiconductor production line management, wafer Silicon wafer cleaning management, wafer storage cabinet management, semiconductor electronic shelf management, and semiconductor overhead crane management. By introducing fully intelligent RFID industrial identification technology in the semiconductor industry, production efficiency, product quality, inventory optimization, and cost management can be improved.

The last speaker was Liang Zhen, director of the industry customer department of Shenzhen Qinye IoT Technology Co., Ltd. He introduced that with the rapid development of my country’s logistics industry over the past decade, only the general market, automobile, chemical industry and retail industry, the vehicle market The scale exceeds 180 billion yuan, and with it comes the management problems of these huge numbers of vehicles. By installing RFID electronic tags on the vehicles, the vehicles are given unique IDs to achieve item-level management. Statistics on vehicle usage are implemented to achieve full life cycle management. After the goods are bound to the vehicle, real-time automated monitoring of the goods throughout the supply chain management process is achieved. Mr. Liang introduced Qinye’s vehicle management software and hardware integrated system, and introduced Qinye’s vehicle management cases in large-scale vehicle rental companies, e-commerce companies, dairy companies and other companies.

At this point, all the guests have finished their speeches and the conference has ended successfully. However, the rapid popularization of RFID in China has just begun. RFID World Network will continue to follow the digital trend, bring together industry forces, and do our best to focus on new scenarios, new products, and new technologies. It can promote the promotion of RFID in various fields. We look forward to meeting all guests and audiences next time!
