At the 2025 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Adant Technologies Inc., a leader in smart antenna technology and real-time location systems (RTLS), and Truesense S.R.L., a manufacturer of ultra-wideband (UWB) technology and artificial intelligence-driven algorithms, announced a strategic partnership. The two parties aim to revolutionize the UWB ecosystem by combining their respective strengths to develop advanced modules.
Adant is known for its leadership in smart antenna technology and RTLS systems, while TrueSense has deep expertise in UWB technology and AI-driven algorithms. This collaboration marks an important step forward for both companies in UWB technology, by seamlessly integrating Adant’s smart antenna system with TrueSense’s TSRR250 module, which integrates radar and ranging capabilities to provide a compact solution.
The first products from this collaboration will be available in early 2025, with key features including:
Combining ranging and radar capabilities in a compact module;
Extremely accurate, with ±5 cm range accuracy and ±3° angle accuracy;
Supports advanced AI/ML applications such as breathing and apnea monitoring, fall detection, tracking and behavior analysis;
3D Angle of Arrival (AoA) and Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) support for real-time location systems;
Ensures secure ranging and pre-processes data streams for complex analytics needs.
